Who it's for

Care for many situations in life

It's not just for older people. Zela is being designed for anyone who needs help or dedicated attention at home — and for the people who care for them.

  • Older people and ageing

Company, routine and safety at home, with dignity.

  • Reduced mobility

Help with everyday tasks and as much independence as possible.

  • Recovery after hospital

Support at home after surgery or a hospital stay.

  • Chronic illness

Routine and medication on track, without extra weight on the family.

  • Companionship and wellbeing

Attentive company for people who spend a lot of time alone.

  • Support for carers

Time off for family members who care for someone every day.

How it will work

Three steps, no fuss

  1. Tell us what's needed

A few simple questions about who needs support and what kind.

  2. Choose a verified caregiver

You'll only see profiles that have passed the verification steps described below.

  3. Follow every visit

After each visit you get a report: how it went, what was done, whether medication was taken.

What can happen during a visit

Visits will last 2 hours or more — time for something to actually happen. When booking, you choose the focus:

  • Company and stimulation

Conversation, board games, reading, a walk, a coffee.

  • Home and meals

A fresh meal cooked and eaten together, light cleaning, laundry, shopping and errands.

  • Health and movement

A walk, simple mobility and balance exercises, medication on track.

  • Going to appointments together

Taking, waiting, bringing back — and telling the family what was said.

  • Respite for carers

The family member who cares every day gets a few hours off.

Physiotherapy, nursing and other clinical procedures are regulated: caregivers go with people to appointments and follow simple mobility plans, but do not replace them.

Our commitment

How we will verify every caregiver

Before any visit, every caregiver goes through these steps. No profile is published until our team has confirmed the verification.

  1. IdentityIdentity document confirmed.
  2. Criminal recordAs far as the law allows. We are confirming with legal advice how and when we can ask for it.
  3. Professional certificationsCare training and qualifications validated.
  4. ReferencesContact with people or organisations they have worked with.

Where things stand: we haven't published any profiles yet. The process is being set up, and verification badges will only appear once they are real.

Straight answers

What's worth knowing now

A few questions you may have. For anything not covered here, write to us.

When will Zela open?

There's no date yet. We'll start in a small area, to do it well, and we'll tell everyone on the waitlist before we open.

Are there verified caregivers already?

We're setting up the verification process and building our first team. No profile will be published until the verification is confirmed.

How much does it cost to join the waitlist?

Nothing. The waitlist is not a commitment and we don't ask for payment details.

What do you do with my email?

We only use it to tell you about the launch and to reply to anything you ask. We don't sell it or share it for advertising. You can leave the list at any time by writing to support@zela-care.com. More details in the privacy policy.

Does Zela replace medical care or physiotherapy?

No. Physiotherapy, nursing and other clinical procedures are regulated and remain with qualified professionals. Zela complements that care — it doesn't replace it.
